Biography
Matthew Hicks is a liability associate in the Orlando office who focuses on medical malpractice and nursing home negligence defense and is licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
Matthew Hicks grew up in the North of England, graduating as a physician from the University of Liverpool Medical School in 2013. Matthew went on to gain experience with a number of medical specialties before focusing the majority of his medical career in the Emergency Medicine.
Matthew went on to immigrate the USA with his wife and decided on pursing his dream of also becoming an attorney. Both during and after graduating from Florida State in 2021, Matthew worked for the Prosecution Services Unit at the Florida Department of Health where he gained valuable insight into the administrative process that governs the licensure of healthcare professionals within the state of Florida.
Mathew has gone on to specialize in medical malpractice, civil defense where he provides a unique perspective to every case through both his legal and medical experience.
How I resolve
As a physician I learned to put myself in the place of each of my patients in order to better provide them care. I stand by this approach when it comes to law in an effort to provide as personal and effective representation as possible.
